## What is CVE-2026-112212?

GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 18.3 before 19.3.6, 19.4 before 19.4.3, and 19.5 before 19.5.1 that, under certain conditions, an unauthenticated user could have poisoned a shared cache's OAuth/OIDC discovery document to redirect certain flows to an externally controlled server, due to improper trust of user-supplied values when constructing endpoint URLs in cached discovery responses.

The record classifies CVE-2026-112212 under weakness class [CWE-444](https://intel.threadlinqs.com/cwe/CWE-444). Its CVSS v3 base vector states that the flaw is reachable remotely over the network, needs no prior authentication, needs a user to take an action first, and has high impact on confidentiality. 1 affected-product entry is recorded, across 1 vendor, listed below. The identifier was first published 1 day ago.

## Severity and exploitation probability

- **CVSS v3.1 base score:** 7.5 — HIGH (`CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:L`)
- **CISA KEV:** Not listed in the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog
- **Threadlinqs priority:** 3.8/10 — a Threadlinqs composite of the CVSS base score, the EPSS percentile and public exploit availability
- **Published:** 2026-10-21

## Is CVE-2026-112212 being exploited?

No public exploitation evidence for CVE-2026-112212 is recorded in the sources Threadlinqs tracks — CISA KEV, Exploit-DB, public proof-of-concept repositories and ProjectDiscovery Nuclei — as of 2026-10-21. That is an absence of evidence in those feeds, not a guarantee that the vulnerability is unexploited.
